We've got some catching up to do...

Some really exciting things are happening at the moment in my life, nothing major but things are going well for once and I think that's exciting. 

First of all, in terms of the blog, I'm working on a post, which will be posted soon, it's a long one, but I hope that it's interesting. I think it's interesting. Im really excited about it.

Secondly, I don't remember if i've mentioned it before, but I'm working on a novel/book/piece of writing. And a significant chunk got written today. Im really proud of it, i've never written anything on this scale before and it's going really well. Typically I write short stories, which are very different to longer fictions. A lot more planning has been done for this story than anything i've ever written before. I've even gone as far as making a character family tree type of thing, because I have a tendency to write a whole chapter and then leave it alone for a month. Anyway, it's going really well, I'm really excited about it. 

Thirdly, my group holiday was booked yesterday. We're not going anywhere particularly exciting, staying in England. We're taking a road trip to Brighton, for a few days. It'll be nice. Unfortunately  in the process of organising and booking the holiday, two people have dropped out, BUT spirits are high for those of us who are going. We managed to get a really good deal for the time of year and location of the hotel, we'll be central Brighton at the end of August and we're paying less than £100 each for three nights! 

Fourthly, (is the list getting too long to keep numbering it yet?) my prom outfit is sorted. Pictures may be coming soon. I have a white dress from Coast, and I plan on pairing it with red heels which have really pretty gems all over them and a small red handbag from Debenhams. I bought a cute black and white statement necklace from Monsoon and I already have a black bolero with a lace backing from New Look which I might pair with the dress. In terms of hair and make up etc. I was thinking simple make up, red lipstick, red nails and a simple side fishtail or something.

Things are going so well that I am considering waking up early tomorrow and going to take some pictures of the sunrise in these woods down the road from my house. We'll see what time I go to bed. 

Today also happened to be a really nice day, I drove my dad around for a while, and took a particularly nice selfie whilst he was in the shop - check out my Instagram to see it.
