IM BACK!!!

So, I've been in America for the past two weeks, and I only just landed this morning so currently I am very jet lagged. There will be a more detailed post on my stay to come, but for now here is possibly my favourite picture that I took of the flat iron building.

Planning For America

On sunday, I fly from London to New York, where I will be hanging for four days then I fly from New York to Orlando, Florida, and spend ten days there before flying home to London.

Basically, I am the most excited that I have ever been right now. Travelling to America is a bucket list thing for me, it's my dream to go to America and I finally am.

I'm travelling with my family, so we will be doing all the typical touristy things, but I definitely plan on going back to America and seeing the more local things. I know it's really wrong, but I really want to go to America, visit every state and go to all the places that I've seen in Youtube videos and on TV Shows.

Obviously, when we are in Florida we're going to Disney and Universal, which I'm pretty excited for. I know everyone has their opinions of Disney world and that whole thing, however, I feel like it's something that you have to do at least once in your life.

However, preparing for going to America has been a task. I am almost ready to go, everything is nearly packed and ready to go, but it has taken a while to get there. I am currently living in my oldest clothes and underwear because all my nice clothes are packed.

I have made the courageous choice to only take mascara for makeup, because when it's sunny, my skin goes really nice. But I really hope I don't regret that choice. My camera is charged, I have two memory cards completely cleared.

Prepare for some cool photos and a post about my trip when I get back.

Leavers Ball

On Friday 27th June was my Leavers Ball, which is basically like Prom but it's for year 13, when we're 18(ish). It was a lot of fun, but ended up being a long night. It was held at a hotel in the local town by my school, there was a sit down meal, awards were given out, pictures were taken, there was dancing, there was drinking, there was crying and there was stumbling home.

My Outfit

Dress: Coast
Bolero: New Look
Necklace: Monsoon
Shoes: Daniel Footwear
Bag: Debenhams

My Hair

My hair was done at my local hairdressers, they are called Alexanders (I think). They are where I go to get all my hair needs taken care of. I'm actually going there on Thursday to get my hair dyed and cut.
Basically, there is a braid across the front of my hair, going from one ear to the other, then behind that there are three more braids going from the top of my head to the bottom. The ends of my hair were then curled and wrapped up into what ended up looking a bit like a flower.
I was really happy with the end result, especially considering it barely fell out, it dropped a little towards the end of the night, and hung a little lower than in the picture, but it wasn't uncomfortable, I didn't have to keep fiddling with it, and not many products were used in it.

More pictures from the night

Horses

Money Stands Between Me and My Dreams

One of my goals for over the summer, was to buy a penny board and leaner how to ride it. I have done some research and calculations and come to the conclusion that I cannot afford to buy an actual penny board on the off chance that I will be able to do it.

They are damn expensive for such tiny things. I looked at making a customisable one, which would have cost me around £110, or I looked at a pastel yellow one with pink wheels which would cost me £89.99.
Which I'm gutted about because I really wanted to buy a nice one straight away, but I cannot justify that. What if I end up being really bad at it, Ive then wasted nearly (or over) £100 on a skateboard that will sit in my room and look pretty.

So, the plan is simple, and I thought of it all on my own. Im going to a popular kids store, named Toys R Us, where I am going to purchase what they have called a kick board, but is basically a penny board, but not made by Penny.

I will learn on that, bash that up with all my awful attempts to ride it. Then when I get good, or when the board end up being broken, whichever happens first, I will buy the expensive customisable one. Or get it for christmas, or another event where people buy me things.

ITS OVER

Im done. Exams are over. Theres nothing else I can do *sigh*. I had my last exam this morning, it was 2 hours long as was possibly the worst exam I've ever sat. I finished a whole twenty minutes early, which cannot be good. However, it's finished and I now have a significant amount of time on my hands.

The goals of my free time:
1. Purchase a penny board
2. Learn to ride said penny board
3. Rehearse ballet exercises
4. Lighten hair using natural highlighter
5. If that doesn't work buy chemicals to lighten hair
6. Go to prom, but don't get too drunk because ballet the next morning
7. Learn how to fill in eyebrows without looking like my (non-existent) boyfriend did my makeup
8. (If possible) Acquire a boyfriend
9. Split cactus into two pots to take one to uni and leave one at home
10. Decide how I want my hair to be dyed and dye it

30 Day Ab Challenge

So I wouldn't say that I'm fat by any means. However, theres a wobble when I jump, to put it nicely. So recently I have been introduced to the App 30 Day Ab Challenge Free by Jozic Productions, and it's kind of changing my life.

From iTunes
That's what it looks like, and basically the concept is that everyday it gives you a different set of exercises that you can do, progressively getting harder for 30 days. You can't skip to day thirty straight away, you have to do it one day at a time.

The great thing is, it gives you rest days, which I've not come across on an exercise app before and I live for those days. Im currently on day 10 and I'm already starting to feel a difference. And its absolutely free. They have the same app in Pro mode, which I haven't really looked into, but I'm guessing its more developed or something.

They also have loads of other similar apps, I plan on starting the 30 day Squat challenge soon alongside the Ab challenge.

Anyway, if you're not really into exercise but you want to stay toned or in shape, I would recommend this. I do it every night right before bed, it takes 20-30 minutes depending on how good you are.

I plan on carrying on with the App until my holiday, get my body beach ready. I suggest you give it a go.
