Meeting Royalty!

The Countess of Wessex and her husband Prince Edward visited my humble little town as part of his birthday tour. The countess is the president of Girl Guiding UK, and so all the guides in the local area were VIP guests during their visit. Which meant that we were stood inside of the ropes and were able to talk to her. 

As expected of England it rained, so everybody was soaking wet, and the pair turned up late. However, spirits were high. The two opened a new building for the local secondary school before going into the town centre and meeting the general public. 

Personally, I was shocked by how good Prince Edward looked. Pretty dapper for 50 I must say. He looked like a proper gangster in a pinstriped suit. I approve.
